TAudioConverter

TAudioConverter can perform two tasks. It can take a single or multiple audio files and convert them from one format to another – that’s the first thing this application can do. TAudioConverter can also extract audio files from audio CDs – process that’s also known as CD ripping. So to sum it up, TAudioConverter can convert audio files and can rip audio CDs.

Installing TAudioConverter is a standard process: download an installer, run it, follow the instructions presented by a setup wizard. It is worth noting that the setup wizard will ask to install several 3rd party tools. Make sure to opt out if you want TAudioConverter and TAudioConverter alone.

Two tabs are presented in the upper left hand corner of TAudioConverter’s interface, tabs that correspond to the functionality the application has to offer:
Audio Converter and Extractor – use this tab to convert audio files from one format to another or to extract audio from video.
CD Ripper – use this tab to extract audio files from audio CDs.

It must be mentioned that TAudioConverter’s interface provides support for skins. By default, the skins are disabled. To enable them you must access the Settings menu, the Interface submenu, and uncheck Disable next to Skins.
